แผนกอนุบาล โรงเรียนกสิณธร เซนต์เจมส์ เชียงใหม่

    หลักสูตรในระดับอนุบาลเป็นการเรียนการสอนที่มุ่งเสริมพัฒนาการทั้ง 4 ด้าน คือ ด้านร่างกาย อารมณ์และจิตใจ สังคม และสติปัญญา ซึ่งจัดประสบการณ์ในรูปแบบบูรณาการทั้งทักษะและสาระการเรียนรู้ผ่านกิจกรรมที่หลากหลาย และสนุกสนาน

โดยโปรแกรม TEP (Trilingual Education Program) จะมีการเรียนการสอนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษในบางรายวิชา เช่น วิชาภาษาอังกฤษโดยครูเจ้าของภาษา วิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ วิชาคณิตศาสตร์ และกิจกรรมเสริมทักษะ เช่น ศิลปะ ดนตรี พลานามัยและเสริมภาษาจีนทุกสัปดาห์

ส่วนโปรแกรม ICEP (Integrated Chinese English Program) เป็นการจัดการเรียนการสอนที่มีสัดส่วน การสอนในรายวิชาเกือบทั้งหมดเป็นภาษาอังกฤษโดยครูเจ้าของภาษาในสัดส่วนที่สูงกว่าโปรแกรม TEP รวมถึงมีการเสริม ภาษาจีนโดยครูชาวจีนในปริมาณคาบเรียนที่มากกว่าด้วย

พหุปัญญา (Multiple Intelligences)

   โรงเรียนกสิณธร เซนต์เจมส์ เชียงใหม่จัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยมีกิจกรรมการเรียนพัฒนาความฉลาดหรือปัญญา 8 ด้าน ซึ่งเป็นปัญญาที่มนุษย์ทุกคนมีอยู่ในตัวเอง และมีความโดดเด่นในแต่ละด้านไม่เหมือนกันอย่างเช่น นักดนตรี มีความโดดเด่นในปัญญาด้านดนตรีมากกว่าด้านอื่นๆ หรือ บางคนก็มีความโดดเด่นในปัญญาหลายด้านพร้อมกันอย่างไร ก็ตาม การพัฒนาความฉลาดในตัวคนเราไม่ได้ถูกพัฒนาอย่างเต็มที่และกระทําพร้อมกันไปทุกด้าน โดยบุคคลที่มี ความโดดเด่นในปัญญาด้านใดด้านหนึ่งจะเลือกทํากิจกรรมที่ตัวเองชื่นชอบแต่อย่างเดียว จนละเลยการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม พัฒนาปัญญาด้านอื่น ๆ ซึ่งปัญญาแต่ละด้านมักจะมีผลส่งเสริมซึ่งกันและกันอย่างเช่นปัญญาด้านภาษา ช่วยทําให้ผู้ที่มี ความโดดเด่นด้านดนตรีสามารถใช้ถ้อยคําที่สละสลวยในการสร้างสรรค์งานเพลงที่มีความไพเราะได้ ดังนั้นกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ในเด็กเล็กควรไปพร้อมกันโดยต่อยอดแววเด่นให้แก่ปัญญาที่โดดเด่น และพัฒนาปัญญา ด้านอื่น ๆ ที่มีความโดดเด่นน้อยให้พัฒนามากยิ่งขึ้น

Kindergarten Department at Kasintorn Saint James

    The Kindergarten curriculum at Kasintorn Saint James Chiang Mai School is designed to promote children's development in four key areas: physical, emotional, social, and intellectual. Learning experiences are delivered through an integrated approach that combines essential skills and subject content with a variety of engaging and enjoyable activities.

Trilingual Education Programme (TEP) provides students with opportunities to learn through selected English-taught subjects. English is taught by qualified native English-speaking teachers, while subjects such as Science and Mathematics are also delivered in English. Students further enrich their learning through specialist classes, including Art, Music, Physical Education, and weekly Chinese language lessons, creating a well-rounded multilingual learning environment.

Integrated Chinese English Programme (ICEP) offers a more intensive English immersion experience. Most subjects are taught in English by native English-speaking teachers, providing significantly greater exposure to the language than the TEP programme. In addition, students receive an increased number of Chinese language lessons taught by native Chinese-speaking teachers, enabling them to develop strong communication skills in both English and Chinese from an early age.

   At Kasintorn Saint James Chiang Mai School, we believe that every child possesses unique talents and abilities. Inspired by Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences, our curriculum incorporates learning activities that nurture all eight areas of intelligence, recognising that each child has different strengths and learns in different ways. Some children naturally excel in areas such as music, while others demonstrate strengths in language, logical thinking, interpersonal relationships, or several intelligences simultaneously. However, children often gravitate toward activities they enjoy most, which may limit the development of other important skills. Our educational approach encourages students to build upon their natural talents while also strengthening areas that are less developed. By providing a balanced range of learning experiences, we help children grow into confident, capable, and well-rounded individuals prepared for lifelong learning.
